PR seeding

Know it was delivered before you follow up.

Know the day it landed, so your follow-up isn’t a guess. One page for every creator and editor on the list: delivered, on the way, or stuck. The shop does the shipping.

Before you follow up

Hear about the failed delivery before you chase the creator.

See what the carrier said, sort it out with the shop in one thread, without digging through Slack.

Where the handoff breaks

Seeding shouldn’t be a part-time job

  • A new spreadsheet for every drop, and the addresses drift
  • Checking 60 tracking numbers while the embargo clock runs
  • Following up with a creator whose package never arrived

How PR teams use GiftDesk

  1. Keep the press list

Add people once. Reuse them for the next drop instead of starting a new sheet.

  2. Send the list to the shop

Send a CSV or share your list. The shop creates the orders and sends you one link. You never touch their store.

  3. Know before you follow up

Each creator or editor has one owner. If the carrier reports a problem, the owner is told (shop on Pro). Nobody waits for a creator to open a link.

FAQ

No. GiftDesk shows where each package is, for every person on the list. Keep HubSpot or your creator tool for relationships and posts; import your people, then use GiftDesk to see where each package is. See /integrations.

Timing. There’s an embargo and a follow-up, and you want to know the package was delivered before you ask about coverage.

Yes. If they open it, they see your brand, not the shop’s. The carrier link is there, just not first. Nobody has to open it for you to see the status; if the carrier says the address is wrong, you may still need to get in touch.

Status follows the tracking on the shop’s Shopify orders, wherever they ship. Customs and duties stay with the shop.

The shop that ships the packages (or your own store if you ship in-house). Your team signs in with Google. Forward /for-stores to the shop to get them set up.

Messages with the shop and alerts need the shop on Pro (or its trial). On Starter, you email the shop when something’s stuck.

Know the day it landed. Then follow up.
