Where the handoff breaks

Spreadsheets cannot tell you a package failed

  • Recipient lists get re-keyed into Shopify — addresses drift and ownership stays unclear
  • Status arrives as screenshots, not a board scoped to your people
  • Nobody owns confirmation until a recipient complains — and then everyone scrambles

How gift teams use GiftDesk

  1. Own your people list

Keep recipient cards on GiftDesk — one source of truth. Export a Shopify-ready CSV anytime.

  2. Hand off to the shop

Share the list or CSV. The merchant creates the Shopify orders and tags the campaign. You never write into their store.

  3. Confirm delivery

Open the shared desk when gifts ship. Assign rows, watch the batch, and get exceptions to the teammate who owns that relationship.

Your list stays yours

People live in your workspace. Handoff and CSV export give the shop one clean import — not another spreadsheet fork. Sharing a list is not a campaign.

People list

One board for your people

One table for the whole batch with live Shopify fulfilment status. Needs attention surfaces without a screenshot chain.

Confirmation without chasingPro

Assign each recipient to the teammate who owns the relationship. Scoped alerts fire on delivery and failure — not every carrier scan.

Alerts and tickets

Your brand on the recipient page

Recipients open a gifter-branded gift page. Carrier tracking stays secondary.

Getting your shop to install

The pain hits your team; the Shopify install and campaign bill sit with the merchant. Forward the store page or book a demo together — shops pay because GiftDesk kills gift-batch WISMO; you pay seats for assign and alerts.

FAQ

Team Free includes two seats. Add seats at $9 each per month, up to 20, then contact us. Recipients never pay. The store pays for campaign capacity separately.

No. Gift teams never create store orders. You keep one authoritative people list and export a Shopify-ready CSV (or share a handoff). The merchant imports, creates orders, and tags them into the campaign. That replaces re-keying from messy sheets — it does not auto-create Admin orders.

Confirmation never depends on them opening anything — status syncs from Shopify fulfilment. If an address cannot be validated, the assigned owner is alerted to fix it (often by contacting that person) before the recipient has to chase the shop.

Forward /for-stores or book a demo together. Stores install to offload gift-client WISMO; your team signs in for seats and the shared desk. Two payers, one clear install ask.

Assigning recipients to teammates needs a seat. Scoped alerts, full tickets, and Slack outbound need the store on Pro (or trial). Starter desks escalate by mailto.

Know it arrived without asking them.
